About the F8 Spider
The F8 Spider is the open-top version of the F8 Tributo, and it brings the same headline numbers with the roof down. Like its 458 and 488 predecessors, it uses a folding hardtop, which takes 14 seconds to open or close and can operate at speeds up to 45 km/h. The drivetrain is shared with the coupe: a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 with 720 PS, derived from the 488 Pista. Ferrari quotes 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in 8.2 seconds and an unchanged top speed of 340 km/h, with a dry weight of 1,400 kg. There is room for 200 litres of luggage too. Without any hybrid system, the F8 Spider offers huge performance, great sound and a real sense of occasion every time the roof folds away, which is why it is so popular with buyers.
